YOUTH IN SPORTS
Event Power is happy to be able to provide kids the opportunity to participate in multi-sport events. We emphasize the importance of participation; therefore all of the youths will receive a finisher medal.
We focus on staging a safe and fun event for the kids as well as the spectators. Our goal is to expose young kids to the sport of triathlon in an environment where they feel like a winner regardless of when they cross the finish line.
Join us in celebrating the potential of our youth!
Montauk is a quaint fishing and surfing town on the eastern most tip of Long Island. The town is known for its natural beauty and sports enthusiastic visitors.
Montauk is one of the birthplaces of triathlons and brings us a great race for the youths. The swim is 3 loops in Fort Pond around buoys with a lot of support. Then you get out of the water and go into the transition area, get ready for the run and run the appropriate length on pavement. All our youth races are great for first timers to get involved in the sport or for youths wanting to compete.
