Trek for Tech 5K at Hannah More School

Second Annual “Trek for Tech” 5K Race and 
One-Mile Fun Walk to be Held at Hannah More School
 
 
WHAT:           The Hannah More School Parents’ Associationwill host the second annual “Trek for Tech” 5K Race and One-Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, April 28. The goal of the event is to raise $15,000 to purchase new technology for use in the classrooms. Last year, more than 160 people participated in the race and more than $11,000 was raised, which was used to purchase a mobile computer lab. 
 
The 5K race will begin on the Hannah More School campus in Reisterstown, continue through the local neighborhood and end back at the school. In addition, a one-mile fun walk will be held on the school grounds. Race participants will enjoy food and entertainment after the race.
 
Students from Hannah More School recently participated in a contest to create a design that will be featured on race t-shirts. The second and third place designs will be featured on the “Trek for Tech” brochure.

TIME:            5K starts at:8:30 a.m.
One-mile walk starts at: 8:00 a.m.
Registration opens at: 7:00 a.m.
